That is the question that my heart screamed out to the infinite black beyond the stars in 1973 while tripping on LSD. I felt utterly isolated without meaning in a vast, indifferent universe. The answer was immediate, a full-blown kundalini dissolution of ego into an infinite light that has served as my polestar ever since. It was a moment in Truth. There are no words to describe it. This experience, as I came to learn, has been shared by many and has been and remains the actively sought goal of mystics and yogis of all time. Those who have entered that boundless consciousness are the world’s Masters calling us to join them.
It left me with two distinct selves – the relative, malleable, mortal, body-identified ego with all its fears, hopes and dreams relating to a world of 8 billion others – and – the absolute, unchangeable, immortal, soul inviting me to acquiesce my hold on mortal delusion and to see with spiritual vision that which bestows invincible Peace and everlasting Love.
This book, The Bubble Rule to Spiritual Vision: A Prescription for Peace, grew out of my revelation 50 years ago that: “We are not bubbles. We are that which enlivens them and knows it to be so. Know this, and we know Life, we reside in Peace and relate in Love. This is The Bubble Rule.” My ego has been slow to release its addiction to the material world and the drama it presents. This book holds its concerns up to my soul and shares the exchanges, leaving me with a “prescription” to ingest and share.
