BURSTING BUBBLES FOR PEACE

Why “The Bubble Rule” is pertinent

I think it‘s safe to say that the majority of the world’s 8 billion people, deep down, wish for the peace of mind, true love and inner happiness.

More than that really. Primal to all our memories, buried beneath a mountain of subsequent files, is our memory of the Divine. It cannot be erased. This memory is the source of our unconscious craving for the Peace of “being”, the natural state of our souls.

It is more than a wish or a craving. It is a need, one that activates our lives. It represents our divine purpose. Our supreme challenge is to re-establish ourselves in soul consciousness.

And what a challenge this is! We are established in ego consciousness.

The ego holds tenaciously to its sense of self, which is attached to the body. It resides in a bubble.

Because ego consciousness assimilates its perception of life from information received primarily through the body’s five senses, the concepts it formulates about life and its relationship to it are limited. Each concept is a bubble.

The intellect lacks the capacity to define the indefinable in a way that makes it real to the ego. Yet, our soul nature is indefinable, uncontainable.

But the ego can experience the indefinable if it dares to immerse itself into the depths of Life’s mysterious waters.

The extent to which the ego perceives itself to be a separate entity from the world with which it relates limits the depth of intimacy it can experience with it. The body-bound ego is fooled by its body’s limited sensory capacity.

The ego’s idea of selfhood has it looking for peace, love and happiness in a world outside itself. The universe and its inhabitants must cooperate if fulfillment is to be realized and sustained.

The ego perceives life though the wrong end of the telescope. It lives in a miniscule world which it blames for the insecurities and pain it experiences.

If it were to flip the scope around and view Life’s limitlessness expanse within, it would find itself in awe, silenced. Only in the stillness of silence do all bubbles dissolve into our direct experience of the Peace of “being”.

While our consciousness engages in the noisy world of comings and goings, our souls remain transcendent in Spirit. Regardless of how unreal our souls may seem, they are our essence. We cannot escape them. They are what we are. Wherever we are, they are. One with Spirit, they are all-knowing. They will continue to call to us from the depths until we turn our attention inward, hear them, and heed their guidance. Our souls can never stop nudging us toward Self-realization.

Invincible, immortal, conscious, all-fulfilling inner peace becomes our experience as we expand our consciousness, loosen egoic attachments and ease back into soul awareness.

Who qualifies as a hero in our eyes?
